Interesting Snippet No 1. The North/South Divide is Cool
Is it a coincidence that the limits of the ice sheet over the British Isles is very close to what we now think of as North/ South divide, or is there some connection?
The first map is the most recent glaciation, the Devensian, of around 15,000 -20,000 years ago, and the limits of the ice sheet.
The 2nd map is what is considered the rough north/south divide.
The two are pretty similar. So is there some odd link or is it totally a coincidence?
