The right does not need the ability to use reasoned arguments because it has power on its side.
Ironically, right wingers often think they have ‘reality’ on their side, the facts, common sense – despite the evidence that they do not. They often say that history proves their points right, despite having very little knowledge of history. They often have large amounts of historical information that contradicts their points sieved out or pushed away. They, again, with great and often laughable irony dismiss points from the left as ‘propaganda’ while not seeming to realise that much of their own views come from right wing propaganda.
